Building my new box sometime after christmas, and I'm 90% set in the components other than my mobo/video card combination. Right now I'm trying to decide if the A8N32-SLI is a good investment if I'm not going to be upgrading again for another year at least. So right now I have a few options:
1. An MSI K8N Deluxe SLI with one GTX512 + my PCI audigy 2 ZS and wait for
2. Same board with dual 7800 GTs
or
3. A8N32 SLI with 2 7800 GTs + Audigy 2
4. A8N32 SLI with one GTX512 + audigy 2
I'd like to set myself up for a future upgrade, which is why Im leaning towards option #3 and hoping Ill be able to fit two next gen cards on there and still have room for an expansion slot sound card since the onboard sound on the A8N32 isn't that great. I could potentially go with 2 7800 GTX's instead of the GTs depending on how I do on christmas money lol. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.
