LCD Diagnostic and Repair Guide?

Does anyone know a good diagnostic and repair guide for LCD's? I have a couple monitors that just won't turn on anymore and would love to fix them.

Personally I don't know of any, but I haven't had any problems with mine. I'm assumming the warranty is expired on the monitor's you speak of? Did you try a google search or another search engine for a guide?

Warranty is long gone. I'm just looking for a general "If this happens, this is your problem do this." Three of the LCD's won't power. When you press the power button the LEDs flicker very faintly. I don't remember what the problem with the fourth is offhand. And I anticipate having problems with more soon. Some of them show a lot of snow on the DVI input but none with VGA.

Most of the monitors I'm refering to were being used for a wall of LCD's displaying weather information. They were on 10 hours a day for 5 years.
