Damn I may have jumped on this if this happened at the "start of COVID" especially if they had a nice stylus able touchpad screen so I could use it with work. Replacing the antique laptop I have that's almost as thick as a physics book, that if memory serves I got at Best Buy because they were giving away vouchers for Windows XP computers, so got the cheapest one there

On newegg.com its shipped "direct from lenovo". That would explain that.
However. On the lenovo site it defaults to the "THINKPEEK" code. Go to the cart and enter "BLACKFRIDAY" and it will be $1,244.

Yeah noticed that "Thinkpeek" popped up automatically... so guessing 50% off isn't 50% off what they're showing, that they're already marked down in which case yeah I don't need a nicer laptop that bad.
