Macbook EFI Update - my fans run constantly now, the mooing is back

I did the macbook firmware update just now and now my fans are nice and noisy again. Great! Does anyone else have this problem?

I do notice the sound of my macbook after the firmware update, but it runs so much cooler that I don't mind at all.

Is this the 1.0 version? (1.9mb) I just got the popup for the update, and I'm gonna hold off after hearing this. I'm not having any problems and don't need the risk

can you use smcFanControl to knock the speed down?

this is odd - the first few times after restarting after installing the update, my fans ran really high.....but now, two days later, they are back to normal it seems......maybe they run a little faster, but I think I've gotten used to it. and things do seem cooler on the whole.
