i dunno how hot these deals are... buy.com is selling the 80gb G2 for ~$230 (see this thread http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1450173)

it's faster, you get 20gb more, and no rebate to deal with. if you don't get the mir, then the 80gb intel ssd is a way better deal.

OCZ says they (vertex/agility) will have TRIM support sometime around the Win 7 release. A plus though is with firmware 1.30 on the Vertex (agility already had this) the drives do auto garbage collection when idle.

Nice prices, but they aren't a very hot deal... The 60GB/120GB are only like $20 cheaper than what Newegg has 'em at IIRC.

There was a thread recently for a 60GB Agility (same controller, only slightly slower flash) for $120 or $130, now that's a deal imo. The prices on the regular Vertex actually kind of complement the price/sizes of the Intel drives (provided you can find 'em for something close to MSRP, we're getting there). I got my X25-M G2 for $260 shipped already, overpaid by $30 or so but 80GB is enough for me and I didn't wanna spend $300+ anyway so I'm happy.

I'm thinking of getting an OCZ Agility for my netbook tho... Hoping for a sweet Black Friday deal on one of 'em.

P.S. AFAIK TRIM support is already working in beta firmwares (for Indillinx drives), so I wouldn't doubt that it'll be there come Oct/Nov. I think they had issues using it on systems with hibernate enabled tho. There's some driver issues as well w/Intel mobo controllers I believe, Intel's probably holding off on the Win7 release to update those.
