My First Folding Boxen Died :(

My 1.3 Celeron OCed to 1.7 died last night. I think Its the mobo. It powers up, but thats it.
I reseted the cmos etc etc. I think I will give it a proper Funeral by blowing it up with a few M-1000s .


RIP 1st folding boxen. :(

Anyone know of a place that has good deals for a micro-ATX socket 370 mobo?

I checked the egg, But I dont want to spend $55.

Perhaps all of the dust underneath that deceivingly clean fan on the heatsink is the cause of the problem.

The only other suggestion would be maybe string the box up like a pinata and smack the crap outta it. :D

shotgun? baseball bat with an few nails in the end?

freeze it in a block of ice and claim you were trying the old "freeze a MB and maybe it'll boot" trick, but you misunderstood the directions?

a BIG capacitor and some car batteries?

I have a mATX 370 emachines board, isn't that great, but it works.. was going to use it for a htpc... lmk

close the sides of the case and seal it. drill a small hole in it and install remote ignition. Fill with 3 cans of hair spray or other flamable material. Make your own mini-disaster. :p
