Welp, I just got my mini in. It's my first mac and so far I'm loving the thing. Anybody use one to manage active directory? I'd like to move over to mac as my workstation for work (ofcourse faster than this mini) but is it possible? I've never looked into managing a windows/AD network with a mac. I'm well on the way to being a switcher, for the most part.

You would have to use remote desktop to TS into a win2k3 or XP box to use the AD mmc snapins.

vpc can join domains...but i would reccomend using some sort of vnc solution. VNC has a nice cross platform ability from linux/unix/windows/mac...what have you.
The only flaw in this is that vnc is a potential security risk to be running on a server.
Which of course depends on whether your network is exposed to the internet or is strictly internal.
