Need advice on what to upgrade (Using Light Room 2)

Current Specs:
MSI G33M-FI LGA 775 Intel G33 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Pentium E2180 Allendale 2.0GHz
2GB RAM (DDR2 800)
GeForce 8600 GT 256MB
160GB 7200RPM HD
Antec NKS3480 w/ 380w PSU
Win Vista Ultimate 32bit

Basically this computers main use is processing photographs using LR2. Photos are taken with a Canon 40D or XTi, shooting is done in RAW and then actually after that I'm not sure what is done b/c my wife is the photographer/editor. She is telling me the computer seems slow when she is editing and I'm not sure what makes the most sense on upgrading this system.

I plan on upgrading to Win 7 64bit asap, adding more RAM and possibly a CPU upgrade?
 
Would Quadcore be a good decision in this case? Can't seem to find any definitive evidence that LR2 will use the extra cores...
 
quadcore won't hurt but probably a fast dual core would suffice.
More ram really helps out though, especially since you only have 2GB.
