We need a new RAID setup for my work and the boss doesn't want me to build one because of support issues and other crap etc.. etc..

We currently have a Raidweb IDE -> SCSI system, but we're running out of space and we want to switch to a SATA NAS so we can shift some of the load off of our main server. I also want and easily expandable system for future upgrades.

I have $5000 budgeted for a 1TB+ system. Would prefer 2TB.

So far, I think I might have it narrowed down to the Dell PowerVault 745N Network Storage 1TB ($3,294). But the only configs listed on the page is for 4x250. Does it not support higher than this or do they just not sell it that way? Can I plug my current SCSI Raidweb system in to this?

Side note: I'm also looking for a 48-port gigabit solution under $800. The best I could do, for the lowest price is to buy two Dell PowerConnect 2724s Web-Managed Switches (2 x $254). We only have 25+ employees and only five of those do heavy transferring but the boss wants to move away from 10/100 all together.
