I think California will eventually do this as well, but I think our legislators are currently too busy thinking up new ways to screw us over again.

I think Oregon does the same thing. Apparently these states think their citizens are too stupid to gas up their own car.

First time I drove through Oregon I didn't know this. Couldn't believe that I wasn't allowed to pump my own gas.

As for Tesla, they should just not sell or support thier cars in those states.
When enough rich people can't buy thier new toy or get it repared, they will call thier polititian and eventually the laws will change.

Practically every state is this way. The only one that I know of that will try and screw you is California.
