I've been having some dramas with my system of late and have decided to return my motherboard under warranty. But, I've decided to fit a better motherboard in there using the components I already have (system in signature). This includes a Socket 754 CPU, 6600GT AGP card & DDR400. Also, stability and performance are needed (but thats a given). The boards I am looking at are:

ASUS K8N-E Deluxe: http://www.asus.com.au/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=14&l3=66&model=232&modelmenu=1

GigaByte GA-K8NS: http://www.giga-byte.com.au/MotherBoard/Products/Products_Spec_GA-K8NS.htm

Does anyone have these boards, or seen them in action? Or, are there any other good 754 motherboards out there that have what I need and would do the job?

In case you haven't already, you mgiht want to take a look at the Chaintech VNF3-250 and the DFI UT 250GB. They're both supposed to be really nice boards.

Well, I'm getting in the ASUS K8N-E Deluxe board, from reviews I've read it looks pretty sweet, a lot of people saying its the best 754 board out there. It'll be in my hot little hands on Friday (at work), so it'll be in my PC Friday night :D

Has anyone got this board, or have any experience with this board? I'm guessing I can't go wrong with ASUS + nForce3, as opposed to MSI + K8T800 (which is what i have, the PS/2 and memory slots are failing). Are there anyone who has something to say on this board?

ive had the gigabyte one, it blew out a few times on me, now i have the ASUS one . personally, i like the ASUS better.

The DFI LanParty NF3 socket 754 board is legendary. That's probably the best choice out there for 754 & AGP.
