I've got an Audigy 2 ZS, Geforce 4 Ti4600, and a Geforce 4MX PCI. The 4600 has only VGA out and DVI-D and I have no DVI-D converter, so I have to use the PCI card for the secondary monitor. I've got an Abit AV8, and whenever I play anything on the secondary monitor, like a video, or move winamp or iTunes to the other monitor, I hear clicking sounds and then my computer BSOD's. I read in Sandra that the PCI latency is high and there is no option in the bios to change this which is making me angry because I have to use the two shitty cards for another few weeks.
The cards are in the system like this
============== TI4600
============== Empty PCI
============== Empty PCI
============== Geforce 4MX PCI
============== Empty PCI
============== Audigy 2 ZS
What can I do? I'm sure my PSU is adequte and so is cooling, I've got a Lian Li PCV1000 and a Fortron 530 with perfectly stable rails. I didn't have this problem before with my 6800, but I had to temporarily downgrade to purchase my CRTs. I'm sure it's the PCI latency thing, but how the heck do I change it?
