Problems with Hitachi Travelstars?

Anyone having any issues with the 7200rpm travelstars? I bought one a year ago and it quit on me last month. It was treated pretty gingerly, so I am wondering if it's a bad apple, or if the entire barrel is rotten..

well i ordered 2 the other day for my lappy and runs OK but it seems that its not as fast vs a 5400RPM. but it runs and BTW its SATA i dont know if you are talking about IDE.

Mine was certainly faster than the 5400 rpm drive. Defrag your drive and see if that helps.
