Rock Band for PS3 w GH3 Guitar?

Hey,

I'd seen a used copy of Rock Band for $30, and it's looking attractive, for better lack of a word. However, I remember the issue with the bundled Guitar Hero III controller not working with Rock Band. I read on Wikipedia that it's been patched, but given the source, I figured I should ask first.
