SLI vs CFX

Almost all of the reviews ive read show crossfire scaling better than sli.

Well, they did give the 4850 X-Fire the nod for best bang-for-the-buck so.......

Personally, I am going with a single 4850 until the 4850X2 or the newest 260 is under $200. Single card solution is just easier imo. SLI works though. I have used it for years prior to this recent build.

CrossFire works really good on my machine.

Crossfire does seem to be somewhat cpu dependent though. The scaling for a GTX280 vs 4870X2 is telling. I wonder what the CPU scaling is for SLI?

From what I've seen so far my hd4870x2 scales wayy better then my 9800gx2 ever could (100% scaling in stalker, ut3 and many other games!).
