Hi,
i'm thinking about building a small rig, but i'm stuck at case selection. I would like to use a standard ATX PSU and there is one catch - i have a graphics card with L2 Pro, which means it is ~2,5 to 3 slots wide because of the fan on it (without fan it would be 2 slot, but of course the cooler needs to have fan on it). All drive spots i need is one for the SSD and that is all. Board can be any size (mITX/mATX/ATX), but as i said - the graphics card is 2,5-3 slots wide, so mITX is pretty much pointless.
So what are the options ?
Lian Li PC-A05N - i have this case for my main computer, it is "smallish", but it is overkill since it is a ATX case, plus it is a bit too deep (210mm x 381mm x 490mm). 93.
Lian Li PC-A03 - more expensive than PC-A05N, smaller (188mm x 368mm x447mm). Not fan of the 9.2cm exhaust fan either. 110.
PC-V350/351/352 - i had PC-V350 and didn't like it much. it is a bit too big box, plus the constraints on the CPU cooler are way too big. (118 for PC-V351 standard colors, 136 for red, 154 for the rest, PC-V352 standard colors are 162, red is 189).
Antec P180 Mini - well, Mini is sort of oxymoron, as this "Mini" is 5cm higher (212 x 436 x 510 mm) than PC-A05N which can take full ATX motherboards. I will not put the price here as it is a very broad range (from 90 to 170 depending on shop and model, but usually around 100-110).
Da Box 100 - looks relatively promising, but also really cramped and a bit on expensive side (145,00 classic/160,00 BlackHeart + shipping).
Then there is the option of getting some other cases like Antec Solo (had it, not fan of 9,2cm intake fans and of weight), Fractal Design Define R2 (have it for my file server, would be a overkill for this setup), Coolermaster Elite/Centurion cases (really don't like them, they all got the plastic and cheap look). Silverstone Sugo SG01/02 are out of question due PSU, cooler layout, SG03/04 have a way too odd look, SG05-07 will have problems with the graphics card.
Any other ideas ?
