Swapping out Audigy vanilla for X-Fi Xtrememusic

How do I go about cleaning the Audigy's drivers? I hear that just doing so from add/remove programs doesn't complete the task

remove old soundcard 1.download DriveCleaner Pro 2.boot into safemode 3.rundrivecleaners Creative filter 4.shut down computer and RTFM 5.install new card and drivers per instructions in FM

Yep, do what Chris suggested. I also ordered the XtremeMusic and will be upgrading from an Audigy Gamer, and Drivercleaner is what I plan to use to clean the drivers.
