System starts back up after being shut down

So this is weird. I've got an ABIT AN8-SLI Fatal1ty that I recently re-installed Windows on. The machine boots up and runs fine. The past week when it's been shut down, it powers off and then a few seconds later it starts back up all on its own accord. I cleared the CMOS, and checked every power related setting I could find (WoL and friends).

I can't find anything that would explain this behavior. Any ideas?

Maybe its crashing on exit and resetting itself. Is it set to stay off after BSOD or restart?

It's set to stay off. I don't think it's crashing because the machine stays off for a few seconds before turning back on.

Yep. Nothing suspicious there.

I'm going to have to tear it apart to find out. I'll post what I find out.

All connections look secure. I wonder if the mobo is dying .

Yeah, they spin completely down. Currently running XP, though a *NIX hard disk in the machine exhibits the same behavior.

Sounds like a switchbounce type of issue? My Old TV will do this sometimes.
