The HTC Flyer... $499 pre-order on April 25th

Well it's finally here... almost, and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the price. Was expecting something a bit less, if even $449 or whatever.

There's some question of it being April 24th (Easter) or April 25th (Monday) but I suppose it really doesn't matter in the long run. If I had the money, it's most likely the device that I'd buy.

Also, I can't seem to find any concrete info that says yes, the Flyer does come with the stylus for use with Scribe, HTC's handwriting recognition technology. I'm kinda thinking it does but, I still can't find anything 100% confirmed anywhere, not from HTC either. I really hate these vaporware ads that don't give enough damned info to go on...

Didn't notice anything new in the video so, I wonder why the re-up...

I really love the look and capabilities (that we currently know of), but for $500, I'd actually prefer to spend that cash on 2 NOOKColors, one for moi, one for the Wife, and toss in a few capacitive styluses - this HTC Flyer for $499 is only the Wi-Fi model, so I can't necessarily see anything that compelling over the NOOKColor, unfortunately.

Decisions, decisions... dammit.
