Both the X12(xbox) and P11(playstation3) are on sale at Toys R Us for $30 + tax. Shipping is not free, but if you have a toys r us in your area then that shouldn't be a problem since you can just pick it up right in store. If you don't have a TrU near you then I'd suggest price matching at another B&M store such as Target or Best Buy.

Definitely not the highest quality headsets but it's a pretty good value if you need a headset or you are looking for a spare set to keep around. They'll also work fine with PC; X12 uses a 3.5mm mic jack and P11 uses USB for mic though both need to have USB plugged in for the headphone amp. I got the X12s because I prefer analog jacks but I was actually surprised that they sounded better than I was expecting and are fairly comfortable. Just beware that the construction is mostly plastic.

figured what the hell and got the p11 for in-store pick up

I used a rewards promo code 01010142422949498167 they emailed me to knock $5 off, Im not sure if its tied to certain accounts

gonna pick this up tomorrow after school. any benefits other than the analog jacks for the x12?

imo, the p11 has a nicer color.

I really haven't done much research between the two though the design and usb for microphone(still has a 3.5mm for stereo) seem to be the main difference. I can't say if one has better build or sound quality though since I have never held or used the P11s. I agree the P11 does look a bit nicer in the pictures, especially side by side, it really does make the x12 look very cheap.

Amazon has it for $36.43, which was cheaper for me when I added Taxes and shipping at Toys R Us.

Yeah I probably should have posted that link as well for people who aren't near a TrU or any other retail store that would pricematch. Sometimes living in the suburbs you forget about people in rural areas or just in less populated areas that have to drive 20+ mins just to get to a Walmart.

I got my brother the X12 as part of his Christmas gift this year. Not bad, but of course do not compare to either my D2000 or 595s. But for the price they sounded good, had some nice bass for gaming as well. Should suit the typical console gamer just fine :)

Anybody use these and have a large head? I'm a size 8 and most headsets feel like they are clamping my skull.

Sucks to wear glasses cause all these headsets are uncomfortable except for the SS siberias

iono if its the same but I have the icemat siberias and they crush my head. Now theres a indentation in my head where my frames meet my ear... Thats why i'm buying these to try them out.

Oh alright. I have the siberia V2 the one it rests on top of your head. I think icemat swings around the back?

Yeah these look similiar to the Corsair drivers which are really uncomfortable with glasses.
