A friend always hits me up for technical advice, and she asked me today about wanting to buy a TV for her bedroom that can also serve as an external monitor for her laptop.
I should stress the TV aspect. She wants to be able to plug it into a cable box, DVD player, use a remote, etc, like a normal TV. She just also wants to be able to plug in her laptop via HDMI when she's tired of the small screen, and I guess work from a nearby bed or something.
I haven't bought a monitor in 2-3 years. Is there anything like this on the market now? And if so, what are some good options for me to send her?
