Im looking at buying a MSI Wind, what i wanna do is install Ubuntu on it. Pretty much what im wondering is if its going to recognize everything on it, wifi, touch pad, webcam, etc...
even in the next release i kinda doubt it. the 1000H had been out for awhile and 8.10 still needs to have some kernel mods done (or other workarounds) for it to work properly. mandriva 2009 might support everything the wind has. i'd look into it as well.
