I am building a system around a MSI K8N NEO4 Platinum (non-SLi). I have 8 SATA headers. Four for the NV RAID (NorthBridge/Chipset?) SATA Controller and one for the onboard Silicon Images SATA controller. I have one small HD for the operating system and paging/swap file. And a larger harddrive for bulk storage.
What would be the most speediest and reliable configuration. Is one Controller better than the other. Is it theoretically faster to have the two disks on one controller or one disk on each controller?
