That would be an amazing deal for the single-platter version, but this one is the 8MB cache model. Still pretty good though, especially if you have a CC in your area and you can pick it up.

states that it has 3 platters, wonder how loud it is? would be pretty fast as raid 0 short stroked ?

It's IDE btw...
Decent deal, but not astounding, I've seen them for $60-65 for SATA and faster versions...
I'm waiting for a really cheap 750GB IDE drive for this external enclosure I got... which has a 250 in it currently...
