So I'm thinking of buying a 4x16 kit that is not on the qualified vendor list.
But I've seen online where others have used the MB in question with that RAM kit, successfully.
The question I have though - is that I see posts about people unsuccessfully trying one RAM kit and then giving up when it won't work and moving on to a different brand.
Which begs the question - does any vendor actually let you return open RAM if it doesn't work with your board? I didn't think that's something that was possible as the packaging would need to be open and therefore not re-sellable as new.
The RAM in question is G.Skill F4-3200C14Q-64GTZR
