Which 30-inch display?

I can get a new monitor at work. I want 30-inches and high resolution. Is the Dell u3011 the one to get? I'm running Win7-64b. Engineering type work.

I prefer the HP because you can set it up in vertical mode. You can see lots of code that way and don't have to scroll as much viewing web pages.

I just jizzed in my pants That 20" + 30" + 20" is a [H]ard geeks wet dream, so much better than typical Eyefinity, which is way too wide in my opinion. When will AMD officially support that mixed layout for Eyefinity gaming ?
