Which mobile Barton should I go for?

Could anyone please offer their 2cents in regards to what mobile AXP I should get? My aim is to get near 2.6 to 2.65ghz

2200+ 35Watt
2400+ 35Watt
2400+ 45Watt
2500+ 45Watt
2600+ 45Watt

I have heard good things coming from the 35W models but I haven't seen any OC near 2.6ghz across the board as I have seen from the 2600+ 45Watt. I'm pretty confused..thanks in advance!
 
I've only used (2) 2400+ 45 watts and a 2500+ 45 watt.

The 2500+ was an IQHYA (think thats the stepping) and got me 2.4Ghz at 1.83v

One 2400+ was the crappy stepping and only got 2.2Ghz at 1.75v (just wouldn't go any higher no matter what voltage)

The other 2400+ was a IQHYA and I get 2.5Ghz all day at 1.75v, I haven't felt like pushing it but I'm sure I could get in the 2.6Ghz range if I wanted.

As for the others I haven't gotten a chance to use any, but from what I have heard is even though the 35 watts should have a lot of head room they seem to be hitting a wall around 2.4-2.5Ghz.
 
I got on of these (2400+ 35Watt) from new egg. Its a IQHYA and right now its at 2.2 (200fsb) @ 1.55v. It did this out of the box. I'm running prime95 on it right now to see wha ti get. I would go with the same one i have.
 
Newegg must not be carrying the 35W 2400+ anymore. Where else could you get one?

Exactly the recommendation ppl have been giving me. What stepping is it?
 
I have it written down at home <At work right now> but I bought it from newegg in the middle of may <may12th to be exact>
 
I'm looking at the excalibur pc site and they gurantee a IQYHA stepping of the 2600+..should I go for it?
 
Just got a 2600+ from excaliberpc. 0352 IQYHA RMPW. Running 12x220 = 2640mhz @ 1.85. Not too shaby.
 
my XP-M 2500+ is at 2.5 @ 1.75v

Im getting the XP-M 2400+ 35 watt in about 2-3 days , dont think they deliever on july 4th :mad: I'll let you know how it goes.

The AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2600+ is the best one by a long shot. About 95% of them can do 2.5Ghz(12.5X200) at 1.75Volts or less. And just about all the records were set with these ones.

Thanx everyone. However, I believe my motherboard is holding back my 2600+. I believe I have one of those NF7 that just aren't as overclockable as usual. I'm looking for a new board any suggestions? Is AN7 any good on the OC front? I heard no from some and yes from others. Thanx again.
 
Im running my 2500+ on an AN7 at 2496mhz (12*208). But i have really cheap crappy ram and that is holding me back. I did have some nice ram i borrowed from a friends puter just for testing purposes but i was able to run 11.5*220 at 1.85V nice and stable.

So i don't know how that compares to other AN7's but it's all right by me
