Why I preordered an Evo

My top reason for preordering.

1.) It took me 10 minutes to post this from my blackberry 8310
- bonus reason!
2.) During this posting I could only see half of what I'm typing unless I switched baack and forth between "desktop view" and "mobile view" - infact I typed this while blind...

Now I'm home and editing the post on my PC, I so want something a bit more capable

Yeah, having 800x480 landscape is damned nice. Was using an n800 many years ago with that resolution, and a Dell Axim with 640x480 landscape (real VGA) and it was so nice compared to all the 320x240/480x320 screens, still is.

Only remains to be seen what Apple might toss into the next iPhone, rumors say it could finally be a decent upgrade to 960x640 - basically 4x the iPhone's current resolution - or something similar. We should find out in a few weeks officially, I suppose.
