Xbox360 sound goes out in some apps.

Games and dashboard works fine, I am running HDMI to TV and sound in games is fine but some apps like Netflix, hulu ect the sound doesn't even start.
Everything up to date.
Any suggestions?

I can't say anything about apps, but I have had sound issues with the sound being lagged in Forza 3 and 4.

HDMI issue, not 360 issue, you can verfy this by running VGA+ audio and watch the problems dissapear

I have found a "cure" although it's annoying.
I go to the console settings for the TV and switch between 1080p and 720p then switch back when the sound goes out. presto fixed.
If I stop a streaming movie and try to resume it give no sound and I have to go for the fix.
sucks but works
