I have 2 of the 1285's and have had good luck with them. I also have an APC that I have replaced the batteries on and use it on a spare system. I prefer the Cyberpower over the APC. If I were in the market for an UPS I would go with the 1350 you linked to.
I have bought a lot of items from Warehouse Deals and have had mostly good results. I have bought tools, kitchen vent hoods, bathroom fixtures, toasters etc. The prices were too good not to take a chance. I have noticed that the bargins are not as good as they used to be but still can save a...
Fortunately or unfortunately (however you look at it) :D my result have been different.
I have had 5 memory related failures in the past few years and they all showed up in the first test pass. And it has always been test 5 that they failed. I have had a couple sticks that would not even boot...
I removed the update and Windows wanted to reinstall the update also. I went to windows update and reran check for updates and it disappeared. What is weird is that one system removed the update without it showing backup.
I have one but I like to have these around when I just need a quick spray on a small job. Damn sniffers have drove the price up, Gotta be 18 around here to buy these.
Received my H80i today. Only downside is that it did come with the old 3 pin fans and old firmware. Corsair will replace but you have to submit an RMA for the fans. And the FW is upgradeable with the Corsair Link 2 software.
I own one of the OCZ Vertex 3 drives and the new Firmware does appear to fix the drive. That being said, last week before the new firmware was released I pulled it out of my system (4 to 5 BSOD daily) and replaced it with a spare drive. I then order a new Crucial M4 to replace it. The FW came...
Depends if you want speed or reliability. The SF are fast but reliability is questionable, especially the OCZ Vertex 3 (Go to their forum and read before you buy). I have a OCZ Vertex 3 128 GB Max IO that had been working without a problem for months until about a month ago. Starting getting...
I wish they would put their SSD's in boxes. The last 2 I have received have been in the so called padded envelopes from UPS with nothing to protect the SSD. They did work however.
My results with the new drive are mixed. My first V3 Max IOPS lasted 2 days before it bricked. The replacement has been trouble free for over 6 weeks.
There have been a lot of problems with the V3, but that appears to be fairly normal for the release of a new version of a SSD with OCZ.
You...
I recently upgraded from a Vertex LE (SATA 2) to a Vertex 3 Max IOPS (SATA 3) and in normal operation I can't tell that much difference. Virus scans and backups are quicker but boot up time did not improve. I was expecting more gain but it is not there. The benchmarks do show an improvement...
