Yeah, mine sounds like it's crushing rocks everytime I put a disk in. Works fine since I bought it in August though, so I wouldn't worry.

I had an MX518, and then received a G7, and the G7 is almost exactly the same shape as the 518, except that it feels even more comfortable.

No extra PSUs laying around, unfortunately. I was wondering though: could I place the parts on cardboard/wood? I don't see why not, but I wanted to double-check.

Hi everyone, Because both my PSU and motherboard need to be replaced (under warranty), I need to basically remove everything from my PC until replacement parts can be received. How can I safely store the components that are not directly attached to the case (processor, RAM, video card)...

Sorry for the necropost: If the hard drive is indeed dead, the information can still be pulled off of it, correct? I understand there'll be some loss, but the information is crucial (yet, unfortunately, not backed up) to the client. I do understand the information can be pulled off, though...
