Same price as getting 2 256s. I would expect the price of 1 512 to be cheaper then 2 256s since there is 1 less of many things.

Lowest priced 7970 on newegg now is $460. $60 over your price range isn't that much. Just a tank of gas these days. :(

Updates are nice. Can I download the game more then once with Amazon like I can with Steam? Side question. I have physical media for some games like HL2, Portal. Can I throw that out along with CD keys?

I've been seeing this under some games. Is there any downside to this version compared to the Steam version?
