Yeah, I tried another Sata cable and it still does the same thing. The warranty ran out just over a month ago which kinda sucks. If I buy one of these on Ebay..am I going to need the mini atx power adapter things too? Thanks

The computer started freezing up when strarting vista at the "Green bar" boot screen. First thing I tried was starting it in safe mode, and it would just freeze up aftter loading crcdisk.sys. I finally ran the HP system recovery and reinstalled windows. It still would freeze up when booting...

Fellow Slimline users.. My S3620f has been having problems and I think its the motherboard. It wont boot windows any way I try and it refuses to boot anything from a disc. Is there any good solutions for a replacement motherboard for the s3 series?

A friend gave me this cpu/mobo and it worked fine for him so I know its not the bios, and as far as a chipset driver, its a ati express 200 chipset, and aside from the audio/raid/ethernet driver, thats all there is.
