Most people dont realise just how bad the average pair of headphones suck. You can spend hundreds easily and not regret it. Music contains so much more detail than the average crappy headphones can reproduce accurately. I wish I had 800$ to blow on a set of cans, but my 50$ PX100s will do...

AMD 1800+, 896mb ram, radeon 9600se. Not the best, but it should be able to play a god damned DVD. I just got a Memores dvd+rw drive. Installed the Nero crap that came with it, and stuck in Fight Club. it played and sounded fine for a minute but then started getting choppy around the fox...

I cant stand MP3s or WMAs ripped with WMP. They have too much background hiss and just dont sound clear. I cant tell the difference between a CD and an EAC ripped, LAME encoded MP3 unless I turn it up and really concentrate on the music.

How do you like the HD202s? I would like an inexpensive closed can, but the low price kinda scares me. I bought my first "real" headphones about a month ago, the Sennheiser PX100s. I absolutely love them.

The origional is a classic, but it sucked. The new one should be much more like the book.
