The motherboard went on Smoke Litterly i flipped the psu to off. I will never buy a intel brand motherboard again. This board had a issue in the first place from starting last year. I did 4 flashes in a month on intel board. I dont know how i managed to keep it stable last year for 1 and half...

What is the max voltage fo northbridge P35

Oh well i have pushed the Q9450 to 1.43v from max 1.36v as intel spec says nothing happened. Now its at 1.31v. The NB is at 1.25v. I did push the NB to 1.55v. Now its back to 1.25v. Bye

    Crucial Memory… Never Again.

A motherboard dont fry the memory unless its defect. I see lots of people think if a memory manufacturer say 2.1 or 2.2 is max on memory they think its safe. For example a E6600 cpu say max is 1.5v. Does that mean you should run at 1.5v because you think its safe for cpu. I bet the cpu will die...

    Crucial Memory… Never Again.

That Right i run mine PC8000 at 1.8V with 926MHZ. Even though the OCZ say 2.1v. You people are killing your ram because of high voltage. Always start with 1.8v dont start at 2.1 or 2.2v the first time you use your ram. I have a PC8000 at 1.8v no issues even with overclocked cpu at 3.7GHZ Q9450. Bye

    P35 DS3R + Q9300

The stock Heatpipes dont make a lot of difference on board. Even though i have reached 3.7GHZ with GA-P35-DS3P. This is not with a stock NB and SB cooling. I did the 463x 8 with 3rd party HR-5 SLI/IFX NB and SB heatsinks by Thermalright. Bye

Finally got my Q9450, weird problems with P35-DS3L...

I got it to 463x8= 3.7GHZ Q9450 with vcore 1.34 in bios and FSB .15 Nb voltage at 1.45v. The applications in windows load in Milliseconds thats less then a second. Before it used to load in 1 or 2 seconds at 3.6ghz. I dont know what made the jump in milliseconds load time from 3.6GHZ loading in...

    P35 DS3R + Q9300

What is your goal to reach speeds at 3.5GHZ or 3.6GHZ. Then i suggest ASUS P5E-VM HDMI LGA 775 Intel G35 HDMI at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131237 .

    Question about OCing

Nope i could not get to be stable after 3.6GHZ on Q9450. Even after replacing the NorthBridge and SouthBridge heatsinks. EDIT: I could now boot to 3.7GHZ fine at 463x 8 screenshot at http://static3.filefront.com/images/personal/j/Jatt6/138714/xbrijencwy.jpg .

Big Leak, Water Everywhere, Is it Over?

ok sorry for posting in water cooling section.
  12. J

    Question about OCing

It boots at 3.8GHZ but it freezes at window login or bsod in middle of booting. I think my Southbridge is the cause because its overheating at 56c. I already replaced the northbridge with thermalright Hr-05 sli/ifx now its time for SB replacement with thermalright Hr-05 sli/ifx. I might list...

Big Leak, Water Everywhere, Is it Over?

Thanks people for making fun of me. Just because i said i dont like water cooling. That really tells me that you people think iam Jerk. Somehow i think i was not making fun of the people on these board not even this topic. I said on previous page i wish him good luck trying to recover his...

Zalman 9700 Led vs Asus Silent Knight II

I would not go with either but go with thermalright ultra 120 eXtreme. But if you choose those 2. I would choose the Asus Silent Knight ||. The Asus performs better then Zalman. But i would not choose these two for Quad cpus. Bye
