Very interesting, we need someone to confirm this. :) Are they even out yet? (The graphics cards, not drivers)

    Display arm for a 2405 Dell ?

I have this arm, which I got from computergeeks.com for about $150 delivered to Europe: http://www.lcdarms.com/products/LCD_Radial_Arms/7500.html I think the model I have might be the 7500-500, which is pretty weak. computergeeks.com page didn't state. They're out of stock now though...

Unofficial 2405FPW Thread (Now that its been announced)

Joined the 2405FPW wagon, ordered one through a friend in the US. :) $879 free next day delivery. Should make for a good gaming monitor, the 30" Apple is a bit difficult to push good framerates with in some games. :)

I guess I'm just lucky. :) I've been working full time with computers for many years and I trust my eyes, they would have noticed such a problem, especially now that it's been pointed out to me. Yes, the problem seems related to the single, high clocked TMDS of the GE, it's obviously not...

Denis, I have put the background to black and I can't see the red flicks, no matter how hard I try. Been staring at the thing for 10 minutes straight. It is identical to my FX4000 as far as I can tell. :)

It was roughly $5000 actually. Then they lowered the price by 22%. They're about $4000 now where I live. I'm not rich, not anymore. ;)

Yeah it's a nice keyboard. :) The monitor is safe from falling off the edge. Please advice where you can pick up this monitor for $1500, I'll take another one. ;)

I have no issues whatsoever with the V9999GE/ACD 30" combination. The FX4000 worked perfectly fine with my ACD 30" as well when I had that, but it's pretty expensive.

Nope, it doesn't rotate. I'm very pleased with the Seagate drives, they're PATA though. They're very quiet. I have 2 SATA Seagates in my other computer and they're very noisy, so the reason they're noisy could be that they're SATA I guess. I don't know if any card can do 5120x3200, afaik...

    Here's mine. :) Some system specs, in case people are interested: Apple Cinema Display 30", Shuttle SN95G5, AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.40 Ghz, 2x1024 Crucial Ballistix DDR PC4000, Asus V9999GE (6800 w/GDDR3 @ 415/1000/16), 2x400GB Seagate 7200.8, Zippy Aluminum keyboard (model WK-722)...

Oh it's fine for gaming. I managed to unlock all 16 pipelines and they all work perfectly, and the card is run at 425/1120 with GDDR3 memory, so it's pretty speedy. I thought it was pretty fast at default clock and pipelines too. Of course you can't run all games in full resolution and full...

I've not read any report of a V9999GE that's not working (until now). Are you positive it was the Gamer's Edition? Other versions of the V9999 are reported to not work (apart from the GT that might work, noone's tested so far though). I've owned both a V9999GE and a FX 4000 and for gaming...
