The new drivers don't help, and neither does switching out the SATA cables. I'm pretty sick of vista, do you think upgrading to windows 7 would help, or is this a hardware issue?

Thanks for the reply Danny, I get this when I run setup.exe for the "new" drivers... "This computer currently contains software version 9.3.0.1019, which is newer than the version you are about to install. Are you sure you want to overwrite the current software with the older version...
