just noticed this news. The UZ2215H and UZ2315H look pretty good, and probably decent updates to the older 2012 models (from 2011 in fact). The 27" UZ2715H is a bit of a lower end model as only 1080p resolution for a start.

can anyone advise what the lowest cost NVIDIA card / series is that can comfortably support 4k resolutions at 60Hz?
It must have DP 1.2 and be able to support 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz. The graphics card driver also needs to be able to support MST feature and also support DisplayID v1.3.
a new 27" monitor from BenQ, looks very interesting. Looks like they've incorporated a Motion Blur Reduction backlight for improved gaming.
Before people moan, yes, it's 1920 x 1080 resolution and using a TN Film panel

looks like the Dell 2407WFP-HC is using a Samsung S-PVA panel after all, there was a lot of talk about it maybe using AMVA, but not the case by the looks of things. I know there was also mention before it was using the LTM240CS panel...
Any thoughts on this?
specs are 2ms G2G (although it has an RTA on/off function, so i think the panel itself is likely to be 5ms rated), 700:1 contrast ratio / 2000:1 dynamic, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 viewing angles and 97% NTSC colour gamut coverage
it's certainly TN Film, but can't...
can any VP191B owners please tell me what their serial number is on the monitor itself.......seems some uk stockists are shipping out versions which aren't the 8ms model, even though they are packaged like the 8ms model!!! not sure what is going on but would like to check what serial numbers...
THG France have reviewed a few top "professional" TFT's including the very popular Dell 2001FP and 2405FPW. One thing that i havent seen up until now is the response time graph and other measurements for the 2405FPW which is a good thing about this review.

it used to be a 12ms TN Film panel from AUO, but now it has been updated to 8ms. They state on that page that it's using Clearmotiv, but is this a true Overdrive panel (ie improved G2G aswell) or have they just cut the ISO response time a little to be in keeping with the 8ms panels...
Just wondering if owners of the 1905FP could do a quick check for me and let me know what the panel details say..... need to know really if it says AUO and the full panel name, or AUO v1.5, or perhaps the Samsung panel?
to check quickly:
it might look like one of these, but can you let...
Tom's Hardware France have released a review of the Viewsonic VX924 here (translated for you) :)
The main area of interest is the 4ms quoted response time. Viewsonic have moved away from the ISO norm for quoting response time (black > white transition) and to the overdriven (using...
