What you should be seeing are called NMEA sentences. The front of every sentence should be a 3 letter code. There are many codes, but for example you might see GGA, GLL, GSA, etc.

I've got the same cpu and mobo. I have C1E and CnQ enabled. Never had any problems. The highest stable overclock is only 3.3GHz (236x14). Any higher than this is unstable for me. I'm using speedfan for monitoring and k10stat for undervolting and underclocking.
