I believe I was using the 3.4.0's, and was correctly uninstalling them each time, as well as using their uninstaller going into C:/ and erasing the folder. If I was as adept with Vista as I am with XP, I'd have erased the registry entries as well, but oh well.
I don't recall any event log...
Hey guys,
I'm having issues connecting my friend's pc to his home network. My knowledge entirely regards Windows XP, so I'm somewhat at a loss here.
NIC: Netgear wg111v2
Router: Netgear mr814v2
OS: Windows Vista Home
The drivers that came on the disc didn't support Vista, so I...
Well that's just wrong. Why do speaker manufacturers publish SPL vs. Freq. graphs?
Ah, right, because different speakers color the output sound differently.
And if all speakers "only reproduce the sound sent to them[,]" why do Dali Megalines sell for near $60,000, when Polk R150's sell for...
Your .04% THD is at 4ohms. I'm sure you'll notice that the insignias do not have a nominal impedance of 4ohms, they may drop as low as 5, but I highly doubt they dig down to 4.
And 7wpc? What kind of volume are you not looking to get? Granted wattage means much less compared to sensitivity...
...Yeah, man those Kevlar mids are awful. And who the hell puts a tweeter on the top?
Go and look at the B&W 8-series. Oh look, both of those features.
Edit: And that t-amp looks like it makes 10wpc @ 10% thd, that's horrific...
A high quality (read: audiophile) setup using good pre/pro and positioning will immerse you inside the sound just fine. You can't possibly think/expect a logitec setup will do this.
Oy, I hate when people use the two prong to three prong converters improperly. I work at a hardware store and people do it all the time, so ignorant. There's a green tab at the bottom of them that is spaced just so, to allow the screw holding the faceplate on to be screwed in through that tab...
You're bragging about a BIC? Nice ebay sub... It's good. For $200, which is nothing in terms of good subs.
And Swans will have a better FRQ v. SPL and freq. response. (This means better than your polks).
While whoever is at it, they can collect the $5m that someone (I forget whom) was shelling out to whomever could prove that "ghosts" exist.
Yeah, no one's won it yet.
The only real benefits to be had here are potentially found in oxygen-free copper, good insulation, and good terminations (if used). Oxygen in copper adds resistance, and that isn't good (easily overcome by using a thicker gauge). High quality insulation doesn't contain chemicals that oxidize...
So by that what you're actually looking for is an accentuated mid-bass more so than an increase in actual bass. You're not going to get rocked by headphones (or a 2.0 setup of "budget" bookshelf speakers).
So I ordered a pair of these from frys.com, and my order shows "Cancelled" but I never recieved an email saying this would happen, and the order shows that they did charge my credit card. Anyone know what the deal is?
Looks like it was my mistake. Blah, this means I missed out on these...
Hello, been a while since I've been around, but:
I've been having problems with my M-Audio Revo 7.1 sound card. I can't seem to get a set of drivers installed that will work. They all seem to "not support" my card. For instance, when loading iTunes, a box will pop up stating (and I...
Hi there,
My mother got this new mac book pro, and I was wondering what a good program for an antivirus and firewall was? I'm under the impression that viruses are few and far between for MacOS environments, but I want to play it safe. Something that doesn't hog resources, or act like a...
Hello,
Is there any way to modify a program (in this case Azureus) to restart automatically in the event that it decided to crash on its self? A few times now it has done this to me (I don't know the cause, or I'd address it), and I don't like that I come back to my computer to see no...
Alright, figured it out. Was as simple as continuing to hold down the button once it's been powered on. As in, keep it depressed until the light turns solid.
Hello,
I used to have my Jabra BT-350 bluetooth headset hooked up to an e815 for a few months, but got a new phone. Now I'm unable to get the headset to enter detection mode, nevermind hook up to the new phone. Jabra doesn't even have the Chocolate (LG8500 model, I think) on their website...
T Mansize:
I know that that was the case with the old Athlon XP cpus, but definately not with the A64s, and from what I've seen, the newer ones (C2D for instance).
HTT will mean just about nothing in the long run, so you ought to play with dividers to get that ram to the highest it can stably support, while making sure that the CPU is as high as possible. HTT can take the hit, the others can't.
No need to get hostile, he could have missed the actual rate that was noted.
There might be something in the games that cap it, but that doesn't make sense because you tried multiple games.
I'm thinking it's an advanced driver setting.
I made sure the stereo was set to AUX2, and I have checked it with another source (iPod a few months ago). I'm quite stumped as to how to do this...
Given that 720p is supposedly faster, I'll leave it there as I play a lot of FPS's and the like.
Oh, and I have another question.
The TV supports up to 720p and 1080i, which is the better format? Is this one of those things I must simply try myself (as it will spark a silly debate that won't come to a definitive end)?
Okay, so I have one of these things with the Dell speakers, but I also want too hook it up to a standalone stereo system. The system has a red/white audio input, and the tv has the same for output. I connect them, making the assumption that this is how it ought to work, and nothing happens...
