I use winamp to play my music and I've always used the EQ built into winamp, but I was wondering whether or not the EQ on the X-Fi is any better. I know its probably personal preference, but would one be better than the other? And I seem to read a lot about people not even using the EQ's at all...

When my X-fi is turned up to 100 the sound gets really crappy. Not sure if its just mine, I usually leave it at 80 and have no problems at all. The thing that pisses me off is that everytime i change my volume to 80 about 15 minutes later its back at 100. Im not sure if its after i switch modes...
