hey guys
7970 single card, 12.2 pre certs, 2x monitor nothing special
games, BF3, everything works FINE
Trixx gives ULPS error
MSI Afterburner doesn't work with "enable unofficial overclocking =1" but "= 0" works, but max clocks are 1125/1575.
So my only issue is Afterburner...
Just to clear this up:
1) Kentsfield is 1066 FSB.
2) It shows up at 6400 because Kentsfield is multiplier unlocked, and for that CPUZ screenshot an 8x multiplier was used. 8x multi, CPUZ says 6400. 9x multi, CPUZ says 6600, even if its a Kentsfield. I've seen the same bug on X6800...

It seems this is what always happens with my FS threads, i offer below retail price, no body buys, and i have to take this to ebay.
Thanks for looking.
Core Duo is code named Yonah. It is quite comparable to AMD64 at the same speeds.
Core 2 Duo has two varieties, the desktop Conroes and the Laptop Meroms. They are basically a Core Duo with as much as 60% of the internals reworked, and most models have a 4mb shared L2 cache. Performance...
This is an E6700 chip, OEM from ClubIT. When i ordered it cost me $650. I should note that ClubIT has a 1 year warranty and i will include the invoice for you.
Selling it because i'm trying to get ahold of an engineering sample instead.
It seems an above average overclocker to me, here...
Not available and the 6600 & 6700 can't even be preordered anymore.
The 6600 preorder died as i added to cart last night, quantity went from 1 to 0 and said it was maxed out. Not cool.
But, i do have to say the prices are good and 6300 and 6400 are still there, so if you're buying...
Telling people Conroe isn't any better than AMD64 at gaming in "real world" is fucking stupid. That's like saying AMD64 isn't any better at gaming than Pentium 4s, and most people went AMD64 because of the better gaming. Even if you won't notice in "real world" settings, it's the edge that...
The Badaxe motherboards NEEDS to be revision 304 to support Conroe. Earlier revisions require extensive hard modifications in order to work with Conroe. I'd say it is unlikely that their badaxes are 304s.
NorCal by the coast here, been beautiful.
Been 80F in the day and down to like 60F at night. Windows open 24/7, no heat, no AC, nothing but beach days.
OEM CCBBE 0610DPMW 165

watercooled: stable at 2.95 GHz with 1.45v and 3 Ghz 1.48v, never tried pushing further
Here is 2.95 Ghz with 1.45v

Except he told me that with 1.35volts he botted into windows at 3 Ghz. It wasn't stable, but that's low voltage. Probably stable with 1.45v @ 3 Ghz.
165 is a better buy than the 170s, 0608MPMW owns, 0610DPMW owns, 0615EPMW owns. Hard to go wrong with a 165 unless you get 0607 : /
Thx man
VPMW are good, but HOT as hell and good luck finding them at decent prices lol.
I'm trying to offer this 0551 for a decent price at 395$ shipped, and from what i've seen it's actually better than most 0551UPMWs.
Eh, i figure most of us guys are overclockers right? And colder is always better. I'm putting my Conroe on phase change. It already runs cool and that's great, it will stay very cold on phase :)
So yep, don't need watercooling but won't hurt :D
