Because of the panel, when cutting the panel in manufactory, the wide screen panel cutting left more than a normal panel. So the cost is lower than non-WS.
Some way to go to your place. 2 hours time difference from yours..........actually I ordered on 22nd, and after 4 days, the 2007 coming...and I ask the sales he said it would be a02 when I ordered. Dunno if he's just lying or telling the truth...
Professional players will definitely keep away from LCD for a match...most of the high level players will also notice the response time lag...but if you just play for fun, i mean not care about the frag much...then probably is no problem....BTW, you could goto see the LCD in shop to feel it...
Thanks for the link, JonDoms.
Anyway, though it's same panel as VX2025wm, but I still think the design of this one is much better...also it's glossy that will make the gaming much fun.
What do you use it for? If gaming, don't forget consider your spec, specially your video card. If HDTV, then probably you'll need 24" since it could support 1080...
What do you use it for? HDTV or CAD design or something else? If your work need a big screen like 30", then prolly you could choose that. But the 24" is quite suitable for me since on 30" gaming will need more money on other specs.
That NEC one if don't care the glossy screen and the high price. Or you could choose 2007, but the ghosting maybe will bother you since I think you may be a hardcore gamer.
So these modes are just preset for picture? I could also play games full screen in desktop mode setting..? Correct? If that's so, then I just wait till the a02 ver. in circulation..okay, thx for the input, m8 :)
One question, since I've heard that the Rev.02 ver. had fixed the banding issues. But some of the owners still report the banding only been solved in 'desktop mode'. While running 'multimedia' or 'game' mode, the banding still there. Though they have the A02 ver. So anyone has already got your...

Hey, OBSSESION, I just purchased a 7800GS to replace my old 9800pro 128M. The improvement is obvious!
My spec here:
P4 2.8C with kingstone 512m x 2 and a ABIT IS7-E mobo....But I'm playing at 1024 x 768 rez, not that high like you. But what I suggested, I think you may have a wait for the...
That bar can be achived by running RK Launcher or Object dock...You could get more info at Aqua-soft. Just google its address. It's a windows macstyle customize site...
Thanks Nephandus & HoodooGuru. Just ordered 7800GS AGP to replace my old 9800pro 128M, hope it will make big difference playing with mine old P4 2.8C..
Thanks for all the amazing pictures! :)
Yes, that equals to the 2800+. I've tried OC to 3.2G...and unfortunately WINXP didn't start properly even...so I aborted....Anyway, I'm a newbie to computer stuff, so the DDR2 is compatible to the DDR.....what I have is 2 x 512MB...I wish I had 1 x 1G....
I think many of us are on the same boat...
My spec here:
P4 2.8C
ABIT IS7-E mobo

I'm switching to the 20'' WS LCD which is 1680 x 1050 rez...after read your posts, now I realize probably I could buy a 6800 or 6800GS for my system, will it run smooth at that...
Thanks for your advice! Someone told me that if I upgrade 7800GS AGP that will be a big waste. Since the 7800GS AGP will definitely NOT perform it's best due the CPU will cause a serious bottle neck...is that true...? Thanks for all!
Many thanks for your input, man! My spec is close to yours except I'm running a 9800pro 128M..otherwise, I'm also having a P4 2.8c with 1G RAM...Now for me I'm planning to upgrade my AGP card to 7800GS now...really wish the vx2025wm can do scaling...
Yes, that's what I'm thinking...save the money up to next PC.....and HL2 which I think is the lightest game in my list.....FEAR and DOOM3 prolly is really the bomb....anyway, if I upgrade a vid card for example, 6800 or 7800, is that mean i also need a powerful PSU?
Thanks for your advice!
