Going with Vive because as much as I liked my Rift DK2 + Leap Motion combo, I didn't really care for the seated experience. Interaction is where it's at. I could wait for Touch but I like the idea of full room-scale over mostly roomscale. I think either is a fine choice though. I love the look...
I'm not very familiar with how it works in other distros of *nix but when I mounted my NAS on my Mac, I had to add the smb:// protocol before the IP or else the mac wouldn't see it at all.
Brand new, factory sealed. Was going to use it in a build but scrapped the idea.
Asking $160 shipped to US only. PM or comment if you have questions.

EDIT: Item has been sold.
Very interesting. I would have liked to see a test performed with Frame Pacing enabled on those 7970s but as the author said, the new driver doesn't support Eyefinity yet.
I'd be interested in a couple updated benchmarks after Phase 2 is out for sure :)
Good news for me, I just got a second 7950 in my system! I didn't really notice any microstuttering but maybe that's because of the high framerates I was getting.
I'll have to up the settings in all my games tonight and test! :D
Hi, interested in picking up a second 7950. Preferably a Sapphire card as I already own the Vapor-X Sapphire card but interested in other brands, particularly XFX :)
PM me with details and pics if possible. I'll work with the seller for whatever payment method they prefer.
Update! I have found...
Got a Sapphire Vapor-X 7950 (8+8 pin) last week. ASIC score of 66.6%.
OC'd easily to 1250/1500 on 1.2V w/ air. Running cool @35C idle /60C max load
Haven't pushed voltage to 1.3V yet but I bet I could get it to 1300/1600.
never had a problem with my OCZ ram before but I did have to RMA a video card once to XFX. Even though it had a lifetime warranty, it took about 2 months of fighting to get them to fix it. hang in there
I'm definitely not brave enough to jump to WP7 from Android.
I love the amount of software on my phone and i have a ZuneHD which I felt was really lacking.
Maybe when i test it out sometime though...
Yeah I got 1066 mostly because I'm planning to get a Phenom II in about a year or so.
Just wanted the 7750 because my old CPU was too slow for anything and I had the money at the time.
Another reason to go 1066 I guess
I'm running OCZ Reapers I got in a combo with my CPU. They work great at 1066.
As for your RAM, if that is your price range, I would suggest going with DDR2 800.
It's cheaper, so you can get better quality RAM rather than slightly faster, worse quality 1066.
I'm running 1066 with my 4gb of dual-channel unganged memory on a 7750.
My FSB: DRAM ratio is 3:4 at stock.
I usually like to run my RAM at DDR2 800 because the ratio is 1:2.
But I feel like it's faster at 1066 speeds.
I don't know what others will tell you but I feel like 1066 is just a...
So far, all of the benchmarks I've seen on a DDR3 + AM3 mobo don't differ much from a DDR2 + AM2+ mobo if at all.
The 7750 is AM2+ which doesn't work in a AM3 board. So you can't do DDR3 unless you upgrade.
But, as for cost/performance right now, there isn't a huge difference.
Well, I don't know if it's really 3x faster but I know that it's a Phenom II 940 with 2 disabled cores.
I've gotten to 3.1GHz but anything past that isn't stable for too long. The temps aren't even high, it just doesn't want to go up that high.
To be fair though, I've only had it for 4 days :p
Yeah, I run 1080P rips w/ MPC and the CoreAVC plugin. I ran them on a Pentium D 820 and could surf the web. (Before I had the CoreAVC plugin, I couldn't do jack with the rips)
I read a post on the overclockers.net forums that said some guy got an X2 Kuma that showed all 4 cores for a while. Then he changed some settings and wasn't able to duplicate it again.
I know the price is a factor and everything, but the PHII 720 X3 is a much better deal over the PH I. Just wait a couple weeks for the prices to drop a bit.
The 720 OCs a hell of a lot better too compared to the 710.
And I don't know about power consumption specifics but I'm willing to bet...
