I am looking for a stacker 810 in good shape. I am located in Canada but pending shipping costs would pay.
Payments can be done either paypal or emt.
Thanks
There was a recent article on the web done by a site that stated going between 3gb or 6gb showed little to no change in FPS for gaming.
The only reason why most people end up putting more ram into their systems than what they need is simply cost or boasting reasons.
Some people DO need to...
I cannot get this game to install at all!
And I'm starting to think its a XP x64 thing I don't know.
I go to download the game and the Emote window pops up and I hit ok and nothing happens.
Is there a torrent file in the Emote program directory under the hunter?
OR
Any data files?
I wasn't impressed with the audio.
I don't know if I had it setup properly or not but I kept finding the center channel considerably quieter than the rest.
If someone was talking in the center channel it would be quiet but if I moved them off to the left side it'd be louder.
Virtual Box works fine with a 64bit OS in a 32bit Host.
Just make sure you turn on VT-x extensions in your Virtual Machine.
I run Win7 just fine this way.
Actually Vista still uses 3.25 or less but Microsoft made a change in the GUI that if you had 4gb and it showed 2gb it'll still show 4gb to avoid the question the OP asked.
1) Most linux distros which are based around packages like Ubuntu have the software compiled for generic binaries which isn't optimized for you the end user.
2) If you don't properly optimize your kernel again you won't notice much difference.
3) Filesystem you choose can play a role...
Define "modern" linux.
Because I know when I setup my linux box I use a 45mb install disc with nothing more than a base system and from there I decide what is put on my system; but again this is because I know what I'm doing.
Something like Ubuntu is pre-setup so that people don't have to...
That GUI is as I stated VERY subjective.. not everyone likes it.
I know what the reason behind this was for.. but I still think it fails as it shows the difference between these 3 operating systems is so insignificant that it comes down to user preference to what one to run.
Because Microsoft cares about making money and if making money means conforming a OS to the masses then so be it.
I am not part of this "mass" and I will not conform.. simple as that.
You say clearly better and I see a 1-2 sec difference or a 1-2 fps difference.. to me that is hardly a leap and bounds above better.
If I was to see 10 seconds or 10-15 fps then perhaps.. but as it stands.. for most people those benchmarks you ran you'd never really notice that difference.
Drivers have also been included with Windows Update but they are generally WHQL drives from Microsoft and I can't say how often I've seen Windows update break a system by updating drivers.
Perhaps this has been fixed but thats to be seen.
My point exactly.
They are catering to those who either never use a computer that often or have some knowledge but not enough to do damage.
So they can bury it away in the UI that nobody finds it and provide a quick link to it and EVERYONE ... most .. is happy.
That is laziness to me.
Except all the functions of the start menu in Vista/Win7 I never use.
I have my system setup in such a way that its just as quick for me to click a few buttons as it is to click a few and type some text.
Again its all on the user needs and Microsoft is simply creating a OS that is geared...
