never mind. it works fine now. Just removed the battry on the mobo and kept it aside for 5 mins which reset the bios. There was a BIOS voltage problem, probably due to my overclocks on CPU GSB and memory.
i think you should wait for the 9 series models to come out. 8800gt is good in crysis (when playing at medium-high settings) but to run a game like crysis you need a good cpu and equally good video card. I got a q6600 and a p4 and believe me, when playing crysis on high settings on my p4 i get...
hi guys,
I live India. I purchased the EVGA 780i mobo from newegg.com last month. I dint use it until 3 days back (due to my exams). I assembled it and worked like a charm. After a day dont know what happened it wont boot at all. All i can see on the mobo is the blue led. When i removed the...
cable management is a pain in da butt with Corsair 750wTX. Freakishly long cables. it took me like 4 hours to get the the cables to fit in the side cover! Also due to my TR 120 xtreame CPU cooler, i am not able to put the side fan. My case areodynamics is screwed. Had no place to stack the...
dude your solution. According to nvidia release notes on their 169.25 drivers, max S-video / Composite resolution is 1024 x 768 at 30hz. I see you have a 32" LCD tv... And as tv less that 40" do not support full HD (1080i/p), your tv can do 720p. According to the release notes, the dvi output...
nope.. 1080p costs more and isn't in budget. But back on the topic, is it worth it? I have seen a lot of people talking about problems with the 8800gt and HDTV's not scaling properly. Anyone here who has got this card to work properly with a 720p/1080p HDTV?

Evga has shipped a nb cooling fan along with the board (40mm I guess) but I feel that it wont be enough. Anyway does a 3 fan radiator have better effect in cooling than the 2 fan??
I reali dont mind spending $10 - $20 more but whatever I buy I want it to last for atleast 2 years.

exactly my point... make a investment wch will help in future / make an investment wch will call for an upgrade in the future... E8400 is brilliant, no doubt, but in future again ull have to go for an upgrade....
was typing at 4:30 am...LOL :D didnt sleep man... but seriously Q6600 is a better choice for all purposes (multi-taskin + gamin + everything u can think of) not specifically Q6600 but all quad core cpuz...
ok heres da gig...
if u want a CPU particularly for gaming then e8400 is ur answer.
if u want a CPU particularly for multi-taking thn q6600 is ur answer.
well the above written text is obvious but ill juz go into some details: :)
in gaming (i think) the main purpose of CPU involvement...
