Yeah I find it quieter to go air cooling nowadays. Just as good.

The best burner i think is BenQ for short drives. I have a LG. You can flash the benq with mediaspeedcode to unlock dvd rip speeds. The LG is also a quiet burner but you can't do that. The BenQ also have better burns when doing dvd backups. I do Neroscans. Better results with the BenQ brands.

The system improved. I would really get a modular powersuply to keep the insdie nice and clean.

Get the foxconn for sure 3 pci slots. Enermax Liberty 400 and up would suit your needs and would fit in your Qpack. I would also get the BenQ 1655 for the long run if your into DVD burning.

1. Yes the powersupply is really that bad. 2. The mobo is very stable but for overclocking I would get a Foxconn or a Biostar fsb is limited to 250. 3. Any pci would do.

I would look for the Powercolor X800GTO 16 pipelines. You can get the refurb for $130 with shipping. If your a half life player.

What are the changes in that bios (3.13)? I have a 165 and it does fine at 250 fsb. Any chance the fsb goes higher? I was hoping to get to 2.4 mhz. If 2250 is the max i can squeeze out of this opty then I will swap it for the 3000 I have in my shuttle. I am hoping to squeeze every last mhz...

Well been awile since i upgraded my video card. I bought my last agp card. AIW x800XT AGP. Is it me or does the fan speeds increase when in a game? It's pretty quiet when not in a game. When I switch to a game it's starts the increase it's fan power.

I needed another pump. Plus I hated the vibration the mcp600 i couldn't control. With the DD D4 it has no vibration but just a little whine. I can control the whine through the Rheobus. THe evercool fans are good to me. I used to have Low Panaflows but they made a hum noise at low speeds...
