I'm having problems trying to switch the sync polarity of one of my screens...
I have an HP ZR30W (30" 2560*1600 screen), and recently bought two Hazro HZ30Wi (same size and res) to work with my pair of GTX480s in an nvidia surround setup.
Surround would not configure, giving me a message...
Okay, I posted this over at XS-forums as well, but I'd love to generate some awareness with the [H] community as well. It seems to me that microstutter is a massively overlooked feature of multi-GPU setups, which really makes a difference to gameplay. Since [H]ardOCP have always been at the...
I've been having problems with random reboots. This problem has persisted over many recent hardware changes, and a format, so I'm having difficulty pinning it down. I generally get reboots roughly every couple of hours, but after one it seems much more likely that I will get another soon...
Okay - I have an Audigy2 zs, along with a set of Gigaworks s750s. When I first got them, they worked beautifully. Now though, they're not registering the centre and the side-left speakers. I've tried a few things, and I'm at a loss to explain why. This is what I've tried:
The speaker...
Okay - I'm looking at two second hand FX-55s from people on a UK overclocking site's member's market.
They're a similar price, so just consider that to be 'equal'. I'm running a vapochill XEII (slightly less powerful than the LS or the MachII), and I'm really wanting the chip to do 3.2Ghz...
I've got a 3000+ winchester, currently running on stock cooling. It's running in an Asus A8V motherboard.
It's a pretty decent clocker, and will do 280fsb (2520Mhz) on 1.45v without a problem (prime stable - load temps stay below 42C). However, if I increase the fsb any further I get serious...
Okay, first up I'm a noob at water cooling, so feel free to point out any blatently obvious things that I may have overlooked :D
Well, I've got a Vapochill XEII (so I don't need CPU cooling). I'm running a 6800U at the moment, but I'm planning to upgrade to dual 6800GTs in the relatively...
I'm trying to format my hard disk and re-install Windows, but I can't get the system to boot from the CD drive. My USB keyboard does not seem to respond to input during bootup, and I need to 'press any key to boot from CD ROM' after having set the boot priority in BIOS.
Does anyone know how...
Okay - I bought a PNY 6800Ultra in late July, and I'm having stability problems with it.
First up - system specs:
P4 2.6c @ 3.2 (Prime95 stable)
Abit IC7
1Gb OCZ PC4200
430W Antec true blue PSU
The card is a relatively poor clocker (440/1140 is the maximum speed I was able to run...
I've been running a creative SB Live! since they were brand new (this baby came bundled with the original Unreal...), with some Cambridge soundworks 4.1 speakers I got at around the same time.
I think it's about time for an upgrade...
I'm interested mainly in gaming, and I'm not so...
Just as the thread title suggests - there is a BIOS available that should enable the extra 4 pipes on certain x800pro cards. So far it seems to work on the VIVO cards that have 1.6ns memory (as opposed to the 2.2ns memory that is the pro 'standard')...
I have been using this HDD for about 3 months now, without any problems. I wake up one morning and my E:\ is gone from windows (I changed nothing significant...), although it still detects in BIOS.
Can anyone help me get it back?!
OS: Windows XP pro (SP1)
HDD: 160Gb Maxtor SATA...
