Ballmer: You Want XP, We'll Keep XP

Keep! Vista is the WinME of the OS world. Nice try, Microsoft. Decent ideas, but hopefully Windows 7 will put it all together.

    April Fool’s Day Prank Ideas

The Intel boards with integrated video have quick-keys for this. CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW I think. You could map that to space or enter and that'd be fun. Hrm - might have to try that actually. =)

Before Making a Thread About Buying a PSU....

    I'll be installing a 450W Nspire with the 24-pin ATX power connector in a new computer tonight. I'll post my impressions later. Components going into the new system: - Asus P5AD2 Deluxe (i925x chipset) - P4 3.2 GHz 1MB/800FSB - 2 x 512MB Corsair Value DDR2 PC2-4200 - eVGA 6800GT...

    THE Memory FAQ

    Price vs. Performance

Hi all, Just reading through about RAM and all the "what to buy threads". A quick search at newegg for 1GB (2x512MB) PC4200 returns results for Corsair Value Select ($200), Kingston Hyper X ($280), and Corsair XMS2 ($380), with no real visible differences. CAS latency is reported as 4...

Attention! You do not need antivirus!

If you guys who aren't running AV or a Firewall and say "I don't have any viruses", how do you even know? There could be a trojan or a worm sitting quietly in your computer, waiting for you to shop online, or submit a password, or just being a zombie, waiting to DDoS some hapless IP address...
