I was able to take a few pics. Word of warning, my camera is on its last leg, and it was never any good under low-light conditions. It's really overcast in the Los Angeles area right now, and I've got to go out and replace a lightbulb on my desk lamp. Here are the pics, I'll get around to...
I was able to pick up a $15 DVI cable, last night at Fry's. They really hide those things, trying to get you to buy the $60 Belkin cables. I really can't tell the difference, going from DVI to VGA, however, that did free up the VGA port. I connected the Xbox 360, and it looks amazing. Is there a...
Every time I go to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, I always feel like a million bucks. A trip to Best Buy after lunch for the purpose of looking around became deadly to my wallet. I walked in, thinking I was going to walk out with exactly the same things I came in with. Wrong. First thing I did was walk...
A lot of Aperture's processing is done through the graphics card, which is why a high-end 128MB or 256MB graphics card is strongly suggested. Running Aperture on a MacBook is going to be absoloutely terrible.
There is no HDMI cable for the Xbox 360 at this time. The premium system comes with component cables which have standard audio cables (Red and White) and an option for Toslink audio. The VGA cables that you can buy seperately also have regular audio and an option for Toslink audio.
I ordered mine from Mwave for $134.50.

I also picked up the Asus P5VD1-X motherboard so I could keep my 6800 GT and my 1.5GB of DDR1.

Everything is working...
What in the world are you talking about? If you're talking about an Intel Core Duo based iBook... no, it doesn't currently exist. If you are talking about a 12" Mac Book Pro, it doesn't exist either.
Playing the 360 version, the graphics and details are out of this world. Looking at STAPLES Center, just being there last Saturday (I'm a season ticketholder for the Los Angeles Avengers), I could basically point out my seats in Section 101, Row 10. The place looks EXACTLY like it does in realy...
Actually, Dell announced their Intel Core Duo laptop a few days ago during CES.

The MacBook Pro is available in either 1.67GHz or 1.83GHz flavors. There are many threads around here on the topic... just...
It'll only take weeks for some sort of dual-booting guide/tutorial to make it out. They'll figure something out...
What I really want is a version of Virtual PC which doesn't really create a virtual copy of Windows, but rather, Windows running natively, side-by-side with Mac OS X, able to put...
No it didn't. Across the entire iPod line, you will not find any included AC adapters. To charge it normally, do exactly what you did, and connect the cable to your computer to charge while it is on. However, if you want to charge through the wall, you can purchase the optional USB Power Adapter...
Out of three of my friends with HDTVs, only one is displaying any HD content at all on their televisions. Basically, I drove my friend down to Time Warner Cable with his PVR box and forced him to trade it out for the HD PVR box. My other friend has one of the old rear-projection HDTVs from when...
I'm looking for a budget sound card for my new Logitech Z-2300 since I was recommended to not go with an old Live! card in my other thread. I took a look at the Creative Labs eBay Store and found a couple refurbished cards for a great price. There is a ten dollar difference between the Audigy 2...
I got in on the Logitech Z-2300 deal from Amazon, which are actually on the truck, and should arrive any-minute today (despite Amazon's tracking saying to expect it from the 15th to the 18th). I'm currently using the C-Media on-board sound on my MSI mobo. I have a friend who offered me he old...
I bought a wired controller to use on my PC, and wow do the drivers suck. Of all the games I have that I can use controllers for, only one game works flawlessly (Need For Speed Most Wanted)... the fact that you can't remap buttons blows. This thing is going back to Best Buy and I'm picking up...
From a person who buys Madden every year for PC and has played Madden 360... just think, DirectX 7 versus DirectX 9. That's basically what the graphical difference seems like.
The resolution is fairly low, but that's usually how it goes with plasmas unless you're willing to spend some major cash. That television claims it is an HDTV, yet can not natively display 720p or 1080i. It will take either resolutions and more than likely, downgrade it to its native 1024x768.
OMG! I'm gonna f-ing cry. The coupon worked, and I retyped it in IE cause FireFox is on the frits, and coupon has ended. I went back to FF and my cart is empty. This was going to be a Christmas present for me... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I'm not real interested in what 2K Sports is doing with their XBOX 360 titles. The lighting almost causes a glowing effect around the bodies, and the textures are just not large enough. I'll wait until I can do a side-by-side comparison between NHL 2K6 and NHL 06, as well as NBA 2K6 and NBA Live...
If you went to the Apple Store, you would need to make a reservation to talk with a Mac Genius (~30 minute wait). This is a first-come, first-serve service. As, you can not make a reservation in advance unless you are a ProCare member. They would take your iPod in, run some tests, and within a...
It will also play standard MPEG4 video, and yes, it will scale down any video to fit the screen. At the local Apple Store, they had some movie trailers which they just dragged off of the Quicktime site.
I was involved in the iPod settlement until 'something' occured which made me one of the persons exempt from eligibility, despite fitting the other criteria.
